To combat darkness we shall join hands!
The first two months of 2020 has given a boon to people’s movement. Protest against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR) are happening in length and breadth of India. The slowdown of the capitalist economy creating a sharper and concrete divide between the proletariat and bourgeoisie. The delay and so-called procedural lapses in delivering judgment on the execution of convicts in Nirbhaya’s case has shown us a true face of democracy which is in the hand of Bramhnical Fascist Forces. A woman is not getting justice even after 7 years of her sad and traumatic demise. We were busy celebrating ritualistic International Women’s Day. Every drop of tear from Nirbhaya’s Mother has taken a toll on the public confidence of the criminal justice system. “Justice delayed is justice denied” is just an idiom only remained in long speeches and academic discussions. The game of supremacy of different wings of the state over another, i.e Legislature and Judiciary seems unending. One of the examples of it are, the undue influence which the government had tried to build from their deliberate acts like enacting NJAC, Nomination of Ranjan Gogoi to Rajya Sabha is heavy, intangible and massive. It will have its own effect on the governance of India.
Still one should not lose hope, let’s have faith in people’s movement. There will be sunrise amidst of dark night with the New Democratic Transition. These conditions are making our ground strong to engage peasants, students, women, dalits, workers and farmers in our struggle to get good governance. Slowly but steadily we will surely win the race.
Long Live Marxism- Leninism!
