Four Maoists martyred, One Soldier Injured in Odisha’s Kalahandi-Kandhamal border

Four Maoists were martyred and a Special Operation Group (SOG) jawan was injured, following an encounter at Kalahandi-Kandhamal border, the Odisha on Wednesday.

The exchange of fire took place at 11 am after a team of Special Operations Group (SOG), District Voluntary Force (DVF) started heavy firing on Maoists. It lasted for half an hour.

In this exchange of fire, four Maoists have been martyred and one SOG Soldier has been injured. The injured soldier is being evacuated. More teams of SOG, DVF, and CRPF have been sent to the area for CASO.
